In the fall of 2012, Chatham Dance Connection proudly established its in-house dance company, Extensions! This dedicated performance and competition company was created with a mission to foster a higher level of creativity, technical skill, artistic aesthetics, and performance quality in each dancer. Extensions Dance Company is more than just a competitive team—it is a place where dancers grow holistically, developing not only their physical abilities but also their mental and emotional strength.

Through a variety of rigorous training and participation in competitions and performances, dancers enhance their technique, musicality, and stage presence. Our competition calendar is balanced with training and rest periods to maintain dancers’ physical and mental well-being.
Auditioning & Membership Information
Students currently registered at Chatham Dance Connection, as well as future students, are eligible to audition for Extensions Dance Company. To audition, dancers must be at least 6 years old and willing to commit to the company’s rehearsal schedule and guidelines. A company contract must be signed to confirm this commitment, which ensures each dancer dedicates themselves fully to the team’s goals and values.
